We Have A Systemic Problem

During the meeting lasted one hour, and engineers Kalanick grilled on what they say is a systemic problem in the company and urged them to start "listening to the people on your own," according to an audio recording obtained by BuzzFeed News.

"In the situation that many women may have seen this kind of thing where, it behooves us to gain credibility," Mr. Kalanick said. "Part of the way we got to this place where there is more optimism is to take it and to apologize, to understand and do everything we can to get to the bottom of it."

The meeting was held four days after the publication of an article he wrote condamnateur engineer Uber Previously, Susan Fowler Rigetti, revealing a company that has been struggling to deal with the ugly crisis, with Kalanick contrite and emotional promising "justice reliable and comprehensive," Attorney General Eric Holder and board member of the Uber Arianna Huffington.

"There are people in this room who have suffered from things that are unfair incredibly."
"I think we should address the elephant in the room ... and that means that everyone who was in this room right now ... believe there is a systemic problem here. We will not be here if we said engineer Kalanick did not do." "I do not think we need to help Eric Holder to admit to ourselves as we have a problem in the system.

"That's enough. That's enough. Enough said Kalanick." I understand ".
Returning to the same question later in the meeting, and added Kalanick: "There are people in this room who have suffered from things that are unfair incredibly. I want to tear injustice. I want to go to the people who made this place a bad place. It was you have my commitment. I understand that this is bigger than the case of Susan and I want you to know that I am all about rooting and be very aggressive about it while being care and compassion and try to build this support and sympathy throughout the organization ... it's emotional a little bit for me and I sorry. I'm sure his emotional for some of you. "
